A real case with our implants
2.0mm 'L' locking compression plates for foot fractures
Fractures of the distal shafts of the 4th and 5th metatarsal bones with significant displacement.
2.0mm 'L' locking compression plates, bent to fit the bone contour. Fixation of the fractures in anatomical alignment using a combination of locking and cortical screws.
Xrays 2 months later show good bony union, with the patient walking normally. The clinical success is attributed to both good surgical technique and also a thin plate profile, making it conducive for soft tissue healing.
